Driven Game Days
Driven pheasant, partridge and duck across the beautiful countryside of the Bedfordshire / Buckinghamshire border.
The days are run in a traditional but modern style, with pheasants driven over mature pine trees and partridge across the adjacent fields. Childerley Sporting also offers some of the best driven duck shooting in the country. With so many lakes and ponds, the ducks get up and fly to their next destination, giving the team a very testing and memorable day.
To top it all off, we have a unique safari tent placed in the middle of ancient woodland, our in-house chef creates a fantastic lunch and the elevenses are always a huge highlight, with inventive and delicious game and venison canapés.

Deer Management
Childerley Sporting carries out all different aspects of deer management. Specialising in hosting international clients, Paul guides and manages large cull projects to achieve population reduction, depending on land requirements.
Paul is renowned as a world expert in Chinese Water Deer and has worked with them for over 25 years, giving him an in-depth knowledge of the species.
Working with all the British deer species over the years has helped him to understand the different management strategies that can be put in place to achieve the estate, farm or landowner's goals. Paul has set up a syndicate of fully trained and insured members to operate on cull days for high-impact animal reduction.
Working with many different landowners and estates over the years, we understand how to achieve our goals with professionalism, sensitivity and discretion.
We regularly work with a thermal drone specialist, enabling us to collect precise species population data, aligning with grant applications.
Venison is a key element of our business and one of the privileges we have from carrying out deer management. We process all the smaller species in-house, using prime cuts as well as making sausages and burgers to sell. We pride ourselves on providing ethically sourced meat, giving deer management a real purpose alongside conservation.

Estate and Field Sports Management
Having a deep knowledge and passion for fieldsports and running a rural business, Paul can really help estates with their future plans.
His extensive knowledge includes gamebird practices, including rearing and releasing, planning habitat, woodland management, game covers, disease, shoot day planning, hospitality, staffing, budgeting, health and safety, and making it viable.
Childerley Sporting can help with all aspects of management, whether it's a cull to reduce numbers or installing chillers and meeting all the required regulations. Our thermal drone counting provides precise numbers for grants.

Rifle Training
